A GRIP of Gratitude!
Scott Grzesiak (Chicago, 2007) was to happy to share with the DeVos staff that he used his $1000 grant to purchase jerseys for his ministry’s Miracle Basketball League.
The summer league meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings where GRIP Outreach For Youth conducts nine games from 7-10pm, serving 18 local churches with approximately 300 teens throughout the evening. According to Scott, before each game the teams listen to a powerful testimony, and at center court each game is launched with prayer.
Scott said, “the jerseys are simple so that we can possibly use them for other sports [such as flag football].”
