Urban Impact Foundation
Pittsburgh, PA
Athletics Ministry Associate
Urban Impact Foundation is a Christ centered urban mission. We desire to see lives holistically transformed in our community one person, one family and one block at a time who, in turn, make a powerful impact locally and globally for Jesus Christ. Our mission is to do our part in fulfilling Christ's Great Commission on the North Side of Pittsburgh, by following His model of holistic ministry by investing in the lives of at-risk children, youth and their families in order to develop mature, responsible followers of Jesus Christ.
Ministry Associates are key people within the structure of Urban Impact Foundation. They are responsible to pray, strategize, develop, implement, manage, and evaluate specific sports programs for targeted youth and engaging their families where possible, in the North Side neighborhoods. They are responsible to implement outreach programs, both ongoing seasonal sports as well as special events (e.g. hoop fest tournament, football clinic) that includes engaging youth with the gospel in order to facilitate the student becoming more involved with the discipleship plan of the organization. This position requires the ability to recruit, lead, supervise, and motivate volunteers for ministry. Relocation into the target urban community is required for this position.
